My little sister Jessica aka "J bird" shot some photos of the Little leaf and I a couple weeks back, haven't gotten around to posting them until now though. She really has a unique eye when it comes to bikes because she says "I don't know what's cool and not when it comes to bikes"
thanks sis.

She also just shot a ton of amazing photos from the Love cycles camp out from a couple weekends ago too, you can see them here JSP

For Sale 1967 BSA victor 441 Flat tracker survivor

1967 BSA Victor 441 survivor California special, Bike has not been touched since it was built in 1969. A true survivor. I got from original owner who raced it at ascot and many other places, Its the real deal, one piece tank, seat and oil bag all fiberglass, made by American Competition Engineering out of Balwin Park CA. frame I believe is stock frame with a track master swing arm.
Bike Has good compression, spark and will Run after cleaning the carb. Has been sitting for long time, but I got started up with a squirt of started fluid .There is no paper with this bike as it has just been used for flat tracking its entire life. I have the original owners manual, and about 6 other rear gears that go with it.
Let me know if interested at stopnik85@yahoo.com
will consider possible trades.

Choppers of the sea

I stopped by the annual Huntington beach car show and vintage surf swap this morning.
A ton of really neat boards, and cars.
Its kinda funny, I was talking to one gut about a board he had for sale, I looked up at the waves and told him it would probably be a blast to surf the board today, and the dude looked at me like not a clue to what I was talking about, then he figured out that I was talking about actually riding the board.
He laughed and replied" I dont surf these boards, there collectors items". He had probably 25 boards in his spot.
Its kinda the same in the motorcycle world with bikes, people have em to clean, take em to shows, but when you ask em how they ride, they look at you like your a dumb ass.
Anyways I guess were not suppose to ride these boards I found out today,  There not all like this, but 90% of these people are.
Moral of the story is ride em don't hide em.

When?

I was clicking around yesterday and this photo stopped me in my tracks. If I hadn't been there riding with this guy I would have sworn it was some bad ass dude from 30+ years ago. No, it is a bad ass dude, Jeff, who rode from Sacramento to Phoenix and back a week and a half ago.
Check out speedmilk.tumblr for cool shots from that weekend and more--
